I'll bet all of you who are familiar with my mecha designs thought that those bulbous antennae where just that... but they aren't. They are telescoping cameras. Their purpose is clearly shown in the illustrations above. The stripped head unit belongs to the first version of the Phoenix before its overhaul.
COMMENTS, QUESTIONS OR SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME AS USUAL... damnit. sticky shift key.
Ah so thats what they're for (besides looking cool ^^) Hey, its kinda like a parallel with the VF series from Macross (their antennae are actually laser CIWS ) Unfortunately, there's not much I can critique on, probably because everything's in good order ^w^ Nice work man

its design originally reminds me of a customized RX-79g (i think thats the Ground Type Gundam's model number) ^_^ i really like the camera idea. reminds me of Saving Provate Ryan, using gum, a bayonette and a mirror to see around corners ^_^ cool idea
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
The Cutting Edge is a weekly article that features brand new selected high quality art products that caught our eyes. Check out the cutting edge prints some of your fellow artists have submitted in the past week!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

On rule 34:
It's the only one anyone seems to follow with any vigor. People actively want this rule to be true, no matter what.
It's almost heartening to know that people can come together on something that doesn't involve killing brown people.
