There are good cameras and some interesting techniques for getting this effect no matter what.
The obvious thing to do if you do not happen to have an amazing camera is to place the model near an edge or something similar to allow you to get the desired scale effect.
Yeah, it's possible but a bit more of a pain to say the least. My camera /really/ sucks, and I don't really have the room anywhere in Japan where I can stick it on a box or anything. I'd get funny looks from the other people in the appt block if I did it on the street. X_x
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
The Cutting Edge is a weekly article that features brand new selected high quality art products that caught our eyes. Check out the cutting edge prints some of your fellow artists have submitted in the past week!

On rule 34:
It's the only one anyone seems to follow with any vigor. People actively want this rule to be true, no matter what.
It's almost heartening to know that people can come together on something that doesn't involve killing brown people.
